DEMOgala ‘08 done and in the bag
Yesterday we participated in DEMOgala ‘08. It was our second time being selected as a top Colorado Innovator, which is truly cool.
Our booth was never empty (this pic is from the set up night, ya wise acres)
It was cool to be around so many other companies doing cool stuff. IOU Note, taking social/familial lending into the 21st Century. Next time some one asks me for money, I know where I’m goin’ Plus they’re just really cool folks.
Brightkite, my pals, were there, I got to talk to them about iPhones and Androids (is that what we’re gonna call Google Android phones?).
Anthony even got some big screen time, during the dinner. Intelligence gaming, was featured during the dinner, and the video included a clip (that he hates) of Anthony talking about Flash 10 and Technology.
It’s a crappy photo, Apple doesn’t think the iPhone needs a flash, not that it woulda helped, but it mighta.
Over all, I have to say I was really impressed with the event. The event organizer part of me, certainly had a few notes :) but in general it was really well executed, and the turned from the Silicon Valley, Boulder, Denver, etc was incredible. It’s amazing and kinda nice, to see how many tech companies of all sizes are in Colorado, and how much attention we get from the Valley.
Oh yeah we had the surface in the booth, that bad boy is an attention grabber. Folks would come and crowd around, take pictures, videos, etc. It was like Tom Cruise was in our booth, but better, and less scary :)
