We could not be more excited to announce that two members of the EffectiveUI team, RJ Owen and Leonard Souza, have been selected to speak at Flash and the City in June:

Flash and the City 2011 “is a four-day technology conference event that is taking place in New York City, encompassing a worldwide audience and group of speakers. The event includes a 3-day marathon conference focusing on a variety of technologies plus a one-day workshop that is held one day prior to the actual conference. The workshop will cover Flash, Flex and mobile, amongst other topics.”

Three main tracks will allow attendees to customize their FATC experience. The Technology track will cover development-focused topics like Flash, Flex, mobile, web and software development. The Inspirational track will showcase experimental work and graphic UI/UX design. The City track will take attendees to sessions held in many of New York City’s best venues, locations and landmarks.

Leonard Souza, lead experience architect, will be speaking on “UX: The Art of Interaction.” Senior software architect RJ Owen will be giving a presentation titled “Design 101 for Developers.” Watch for specific days, times and venues TBA.
