On Thursday, February 10 we are partnering with IxDA and Adobe to kick off Interaction ’11 with an opening night party at the historic Boulder Theater. All conference attendees are invited for live music, great food from StrEAT Chefs and swag. Join us from 6:00 to 10:00pm for a don’t-miss event:
After your last session of the day, fast-track it over to the Boulder Theater at the corner of Spruce and 14th. There, America’s Top Chef Hosea Rosenberg and his StrEAT Chefs team will transport you from the alleyways of Bangkok to sand pits on the beaches of Mexico with street food from across the globe. Want to get a true StrEAT experience? Grab a bite from the StrEAT Chef Airstream trailer outside the theater entrance.
Inside, you can soak in the sounds of DJ Eddie B. spinning 60s vinyl and an indie-electro/dance rock set from Cristian Whitney (both Eddie and Cristian are EffectiveUI designers by day!). While you’re listening, chill at the liquid nitrogen dessert table.
If serious swag is what gets you to a party, Adobe will be giving out software suites throughout the night – you just need to be present to win!
Finally, don’t miss an electrifying live performance form Denver’s hottest new indie-rock band Snake Rattle Rattle Snake. Crowned Westword’s Best New Band in 2010, music critic Tom Murphy says the band’s “atmospheric music with a grounding in dance rhythms make it an inspiringly compelling live act.” If we’re lucky, we may even get a sneak peak from their upcoming new release before it hits the streets.
We hope to see all conference attendees there on February 10!
