User experience designers Lindsay Moore and Austin Brown presented “Human Centered Design and the Intersection of the Physical and Digital Worlds” last week at IxDA’s Interaction ’11 held in Boulder, CO. In the presentation, Lindsay and Austin discuss how the principles of industrial and digital interaction design are related and what the two disciplines can learn from one another. They then apply the combined principles to redesign two everyday objects for a better user experience.
