Account Director

The account director is responsible for the overall account management, planning and development of EffectiveUI’s top level accounts. The account director is also responsible for identifying and driving additional account business and revenue through strategic relationship building and value-added consulting services.

Essential Job Functions:

• Serves as the strategic account partner and client advocate, and ensures exceptional EffectiveUI engagement experiences and client satisfaction
• Develops account development plan which includes client’s business mission, goals and objectives, organization chart, key stakeholders, influencers and decision makers, integrators, dependencies and barriers, and initial account growth strategies
• Drives incremental revenue to achieve quarterly sales quotas
• Manages any client objections or escalations related to staffing, billing, costs, resources, or quality of service, and brings in management when appropriate
• Coordinates and participates in project scoping, pricing, and estimates for new project opportunities
• Acts as the internal client advocate when participating with the internal project team
• Builds rapport with internal team, and ensures everyone is working toward a common goal which ultimately should be a delighted client and profitable high value account

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience managing client accounts
• Excellent client service skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency working with software tools for PC or MAC including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience managing to and successfully meeting revenue quotas
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional services environment managing external clients and client expectations
• Keen problem solving skills
• Thinks client centric while operations and profit minded
• Excellent people skills
• Ability to travel up to 50%

• Competencies and understanding in project management
• Professional experience working in an agency setting
• Understanding of emerging technologies
