CSS/HTML Developer (Contract Position)
Job Summary:
Create XHTML markup, CSS presentation, JavaScript interactions using standards-compliant development techniques as a member of a comprehensive team including other developers, graphic and interaction designers and client and project managers.
Essential Job Functions:
- Utilizes superior understanding of HTML and CSS as well as semantic markup and web standards to act as a team contributor
- Works with technical leads and user experience architects to understand and translate wireframes and architectural requirements
- Acts as a team member and collaborator to ensure the best possible solution for the EUI client
- Interacts with clients as needed to explain, translate and communicate technical issues and clarifications
Required Skills
- Demonstrable expertise in standards-compliant semantic XHTML and CSS.
- Demonstrable skills in standards-compliant development techniques (e.g. progressive enhancement).
- Experience with Javascript and the DOM.
- Experience with working with complex Photoshop and/or Fireworks compositions.
- Experience with cross-browser HTML and CSS.
- Clear and proactive communication skills.
- The ability to work with minimal supervision, and not be afraid to ask questions.
- The desire to learn more and improve your skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery.
- Experience on large enterprise-level projects.
- Experience with templating technologies.
- Expeirence with content management systems.

- Ability to travel up to 25% as required by EUI client
- Occasional background checks
