Lead Experience Architect | Denver, CO

We are looking for Lead Experience Architects. Our Lead Experience Architects act as the lead experience designer on our major client engagements. Working in a collaborative environment with other designers and developers our lead experience architects drive our creative sessions with key internal/external stakeholders, shape the direction of the project, and propose and execute the tasks you think will lead to a great user experience. This may include everything from conducting user research, to leading workshops with stakeholders, to recommending detailed design solutions in wireframes, prototypes of other documents.

We are looking for designers who are looking for a fast paced environment and have adopted user-centered design methodologies as their area of expertise, thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem solving skills and independent self-direction, and strong communication and presentation skills.

What kind of experience do we look for?

• 5 or more years of user experience design experience for software, web applications, consumer electronics and/or mobile devices with specific resume details that talk about. Usability, user-centered design, user experience design, interaction design, information architecture.
• Know when, why and how to create things like: personas, scenarios, workflows, site maps, wireframes, and direct others in the creation of those
• Know when, why and how to do things like: user interviews, analytics review, usability testing
• Strong conceptualization ability & strong visual communication ability
• Exceptional design skills, production value and attention to detail
• Strong working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Fireworks, and associated design tools
• Extensive experience with user interface design patterns and standard UCD methodologies across multiple platforms.
• Clear leadership skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong client facing presentation and communication skills
• Strong understanding of common software project management practices
• Strong understanding of common software development practices
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Interaction Design, New Media Design, Industrial Design, HCI, Human Factors/Ergonomics or related field.
