User experience agency wins two American Business Awards and seven Communicator Awards, including a Stevie Award for Agency of the Year
Denver – June 22, 2010 – In the past month, EffectiveUI, a full-service user experience agency, has been honored with nine industry awards recognizing both the company’s work creating engaging Web, mobile, desktop and touch-enabled applications, as well as its marketing communications efforts.
The American Business Awards presented EffectiveUI with two Stevie Awards on June 21 in New York City. The company was named Agency of the Year for Advertising, Editorial or Design based on its innovation and focus on the end-user in the products it creates for its clients.
EffectiveUI was recognized in the Interactive Multimedia – Consumer Entertainment/Information category for its work on The Complete National Geographic, which features a digital archive of 120 years of the magazine’s articles, advertisements and award-winning photos in a rich, seamless application that is available in either an external hard drive or a six DVD-ROM set.
Stevie Awards were presented in more than 40 categories. Organizations of all sizes, representing virtually every industry, submitted more than 2,700 entries for consideration.
EffectiveUI was also recently honored with seven 2010 Communicator Awards by the International Academy of Arts. With thousands of entries submitted from around the world, the Communicator Awards is the largest and most competitive awards program honoring the creative excellence of communications professionals.
