EffectiveUI Featured on Inc. 500|5000 for Third Straight Year

Inc. Magazine Recognizes EffectiveUI as No. 37 in Denver and No. 127 in Software Industry

DENVER – September 1, 2011

For the third consecutive year, EffectiveUI has been recognized by Inc. magazine as one of the fastest-growing private companies in its 2011 Inc. 500|5000 list. The company ranked No. 37 in Denver and No. 127 in the software industry.

The list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy — America’s independent entrepreneurs.

In a stagnant economic environment, median growth rate of 2011 Inc. 500|5000 companies remains an impressive 94 percent. EffectiveUI, listed at No.1,692 on the overall list, posted three-year growth of 159 percent.

The companies on this year’s list report having created 350,000 jobs in the past three years, and aggregate revenue among the honorees reached $366 billion, up 14 percent from last year.

“We are extremely proud to be listed once again on the prestigious 2011 Inc. 500|5000 list,” said Rebecca Flavin, CEO, EffectiveUI. “Our success has been the direct result of the passion and talent of our employees. They consistently deliver compelling digital experiences that increase customer adoption and ultimately advance our clients’ success by transforming the way that they do business.”

“Now, more than ever, we depend on Inc. 500|5000 companies to spur innovation, provide jobs, and drive the economy forward,” said Jane Berentson, editor, Inc. magazine. “Growth companies, not large corporations, are where the action is.”

Methodology

The 2011 Inc. 500|5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2007 through 2010. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2007. Additionally, they had to be based in the United States, privately held, for profit, and independent — not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies — as of December 31, 2010. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.).

The minimum revenue required for 2007 is $100,000; the minimum for 2010 is $2 million. Revenue figures given in the company profiles are for calendar years, as are employee counts. Full-time and part-time employees are included in the employee counts; independent contractors are not. As always, Inc. reserves the right to reject applicants for subjective reasons.
