Kicking off with Adobe MAX, award-winning user experience (UX) agency brings thought leadership to six upcoming conferences
DENVER – October 3, 2011
Demonstrating thought leadership in user experience (UX), EffectiveUI will participate in a number of upcoming conferences including Adobe MAX, Android Open Conference, Web 2.0 Expo NY, Forrester’s Consumer Forum, AnDevCon II and ad:tech NY. Several EffectiveUI team members are presenting sessions at these conferences showcasing the importance of user experience. Dates and full details are included below.
October 3-5
Adobe MAX, Los Angeles, Calif.
EffectiveUI will exhibit at booth 419 and offer perspective on user experience in two conference sessions:
October 9-11
Android Open Conference, San Francisco, Calif.
Tony Hillerson, software engineer, and Juan Sanchez, experience architect, will present “Designing an App from Idea to Market,” a workshop focused on designing a good user experience for the Android platform. The session takes place at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 9, in Grand Ballroom B.
October 11-13
Web 2.0 Expo NY, New York, N.Y.
Anthony Franco and Michael Salamon, lead experience architect, will present “Design Essentials for Executives – Behind the ‘Magic’” focused on helping executives, whose focus isn’t just the digital side of the business, understand the basics behind why designers make the decisions and recommendations they make. This presentation is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 11 in Conference Room F.
Additionally, EffectiveUI will exhibit at booth 193.
October 27-29
Forrester’s Consumer Forum, Chicago, Ill.
Peyton Lindley, executive director, experience design, will present a Guest Executive Forum session on “Client/Agency Collaboration: Lessons from the Field.” The session takes place in Continental A at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, October 28.
In addition, EffectiveUI will exhibit at booth 301.
November 6-9
AnDevCon II, Burlingame, Calif.
Tony Hillerson will present a class titled “SCM for Android Developers Using Git,” focused on why Git is different, and what that difference means to Android developers. This class will take place on Monday, November 7 at 3:15 p.m.
November 8-10
ad:tech NY, New York, N.Y.
Anthony Franco will present “User Experience Matters: Making Sure Digital Experiences Don’t Suck,” a hands-on session walking attendees through a series of best practices and case studies to demonstrate to marketers how to ensure users’ experiences meet ever-increasing expectations. This presentation will take place on Wednesday, November 9 at 2:45 p.m.
