Brook Molla
Chief Software Architect

As EffectiveUI’s chief software architect, Brook Molla is responsible for providing technical direction, support and guidance relating to all aspects of the company's user experience-based software development and affiliated technologies. Additionally, he is responsible for providing oversight of EffectiveUI’s development teams across the company’s Denver, New York and Vancouver offices and is committed to ensuring quality, efficiency and excellence at every level of project development.

Brook specializes in rich Internet application development, enterprise mobile software development, integration, systems architecture, team management, project ROI evaluation/risk management analysis and operational optimization.

Brook has an extensive technical oversight and management background and favors an agile software development process that incorporates collaboration and engineering best practices to allow for the immediate delivery of high-quality software. In addition, he believes in a business model that aligns development with client needs and company goals to produce custom, rich applications that can help organizations maximize customer and employee satisfaction and profitability.

Prior to joining EffectiveUI in 2006, Brook held senior-level software development positions for numerous high-level technology companies. Most recently, he worked for Countermind, LLC, where he served as the company’s lead sales engineer in providing technical expertise in prototype development and deployment. Additionally, Brook served as a manager of software development for Merkle where he provided guidance and support to emerging developers in regards to design, best practices and the integration of new, innovative technologies. He has also held positions as a Web technologies developer for SafeNet Consulting and a senior developer for Cambridge Technology Partners.

Professional affiliations include: IEEE Computer Society, The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE).

Brook earned both his master’s degree in engineering and technology management and his bachelor’s degree in mathematics and computer science from the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colo.
